Webinar Description:

Trust is a critical aspect for client retention. How do we maximize our ability to gain trust when working with a diverse client base? This webinar will focus on aspects of developing trust while working with clients who may be similar or dissimilar to ourselves. This webinar will assist you in identifying your social location (gender, culture, race, socioeconomic status, etc.) paying close attention to where diversity lies within your history and money story. The ability to develop empathy and compassion for the nuisances of your personal story can be part of developing a renewed appreciation for your client’s goals and obstacles. Subsequent to exploring aspects of social location and reviewing the potential impact is has on clients, this webinar will review other considerations of working with a diverse client base including how to avoid dis-empowering language and the need to consider how cultural financial trauma may be at play.
