Volunteer Opportunities: Are you interested in getting more involved with the FTA? Here's how!

Grant Writing - Do you have grant writing skills? If so, the FTA Board is seeking volunteers to assist in our new grant writing initiatives. If you are interested, please email Ally DeGraff at [email protected].

Membership - Know others who are interested in developing our field? Would you like to help directly affect the growth of our Association? If so, the FTA Board is seeking volunteers for our Membership committee. Please contact Ed Kizer, the Membership committee Chair, at [email protected].

Social Media/Marketing - Are you a marketing whiz? Would you like to be involved in helping promote the many facets of financial therapy to a large audience? Our FTA Social Media & Marketing team is looking for volunteers now, so contact Tracey Ann Gordineer at [email protected] if you are interested!

Call for Papers - Spread Financial Therapy Knowledge:  The Journal of Financial Therapy is looking for submissions for an upcoming special issue on Stress and Money. For more information, please visit www.jftonline.org. The submission deadline is January 2, 2017.

Request for Submissions - The CFP® Board Center for Financial Planning also announced their first Academic Research Colloquium for Financial Planning and Related Disciplines in Arlington, Virginia on February 7-9, 2017. They are looking for submissions for the "Best Paper Award in Consumer Finance," and it is noted that academic work in financial therapy will be considered. The deadline for submission is coming up fast on August 31, 2016.
