Webinar Description:

Supporting Clients Through Tax Season

‘Tis the season for filing taxes, and for many clients, that means ‘tis the season for anxiety, avoidant behaviors, and denial as well. Financial Therapists are uniquely positioned to counsel clients during this time by anticipating client resistance in a few key areas and supporting clients as they plan, reframe, and navigate this season.

This one-hour webinar will review the primary drivers of client anxiety related to taxes and share best practices for supporting clients as they navigate each challenge. As part of this webinar, participants will:

  • Recognize key tax changes that may affect clients in 2019.
  • Identify common behaviors and fears clients may present as a result of taxes.
  • Apply best practices and solutions to each client situations.
  • Identify ways to support clients as they prepare for next year’s tax season.

The information presented is anecdotal, based on the presenter’s experience in working with a large community creative entrepreneurs, many of whom loathe the tax process. It will conclude with resources Financial Therapists may share with clients to help them embrace tax season (and prepare for the next one).
