Webinar Description:

  • There are common misperceptions about the divorce process. How does one decrease the emotional and financial costs of divorce? Sandy will review these topics and explain how those divorcing can have confidence during negotiations and avoid unnecessary turmoil for their children and family. This presentation will explain why an attorney is the THIRD person an individual considering divorce should contact and provide a road map that will allow a divorce without destroying family or finances. This presentation has highlights that both mental health professionals and financial planners can benefit from an interdisciplinary approach to resolving money arguments by combining training in personal financial strategies and conflict resolution principles.
  • CEUs:
    • AFC® - Application has been approved for one 1 hour of AFC® credit.
    • CFP® - Application has been approved for one 1 hour of CFP® credit.
    • Mental Health CEUs - Application has been approved for one 1 hour of LMFT, LMHC, LCSW credits through the Florida Board.

      knowledge base and tools in their tool box to help clients get a financially smart divorce.
